Our client is a well-established European contractor that specializes in large-scale interior fit-out projects for commercial and data center clients. With a strong presence in Germany, they are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.

They are looking for a proactive Health & Safety (EHS) Advisor to join their dynamic team in Frankfurt. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in implementing EHS policies on a major construction site and directly influence the site’s safety culture. This position is ideal for a safety professional looking for long-term growth within a high-performance, safety-first organization.

Key responsabilities

  • Enforce H&S Policies: Ensure strict adherence to company health and safety policies and procedures on the construction site.
  • Conduct Inspections: Perform daily inspections and regular safety audits to identify and address potential hazards.
  • Manage Documentation: Prepare, review, and brief teams on Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
  • Provide Training: Deliver site safety inductions, toolbox talks, and continuous EHS training to all personnel.
  • Ensure Compliance: Verify that all equipment and plant inspections are fully compliant and properly documented.
  • Investigate Incidents: Investigate and report all accidents, incidents, and near misses, then develop preventive action plans.
  • Maintain Records: Keep accurate EHS records and contribute to the final project handover safety file.

Qualifications

  • A recognized qualification in Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) is required.
  • You should have a minimum of 2+ years of experience as a dedicated construction safety advisor or officer.
  • A strong understanding of construction health and safety legislation is essential.
  • The role requires excellent organizational, communication, and reporting skills.
  • You must be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Candidates must have valid EU work rights.

  • Salary and Contract: You’ll receive a competitive base salary plus an annual performance bonus. This is a permanent position, with a 6-month probationary period.
  • For Candidates on Rotation:

    • Schedule: A structured schedule of 3 weeks on, followed by a long weekend off.
    • Benefits: All accommodation and monthly flights are fully covered.
    • Hours: Site hours are Monday to Friday (10 hours per day) and a half-day on Saturday.
    • For Locally-Based Candidates:

      • Hours: Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
